Kivara started with a simple belief: skincare should do more than look beautiful on a shelf — it should make a meaningful difference to your skin.

Having struggled with my own skin for years, I know how frustrating it can feel to move from one product to the next, trying countless off-the-shelf solutions without finding something that truly feels right for your skin. Discovering Korean skincare changed that experience for me. Its thoughtful approach to hydration, barrier support and innovative ingredients brought a sense of relief and finally gave me a skincare approach I could believe in.

As the founder of Kivara, my own passion for skincare led me to discover the innovation behind Korean beauty and its focus on hydration, skin-barrier support and carefully formulated ingredients.

I wanted to bring that experience closer to home.

That’s why I created Kivara — to bring thoughtfully selected Korean skincare to South African women, with products chosen for real skin concerns and formulas designed to help you achieve healthier-looking, confident, glowing skin.
